The running routes below are for reference only. Runners are not required to fully follow the reference running route, but they are required to complete a full marathon or 10km distance and take a selfie photo in the check-in landmark.
Bupa fully supports STREETATHON again this year. They have designed the "Bupa Healthy Fun" route to help our runners strengthen their body, balance mental health, and relieve stress in life. Runners may take reference from this route apart from the winning route for Hong Kong Island to get the finish badge. Hope you enjoy running and appreciate Hong Kong at the same time!

Rules & Regulations
- Participants must register with valid Hong Kong Identification Documents, and each participant can only register once.
- Participants must pass by any of the check-in landmarks in the virtual run.
- Participants must upload valid running records to the online system:
a. The running record is displayed in image format such as .jpg/pdf, and the file size cannot exceed 3mb.
b. The running record must clearly show the running route, date (from February 27th to March 28th), and total exercise time.
c. Running records can be uploaded once only, please choose your Personal Best record.
d. Once the participant starts running, a marathon or one of the 10km routes must be completed within 24 hours. - Full marathon participants must be 18 years old or above.
- Full marathon participants will obtain a "STREETSIDE HONG KONG STREETATHON 2021" finish badge upon completion; 10km participants will obtain different souvenirs based on their selected package:
a. Street Running Enthusiast - Finish badges x 5 pcs and "STREETSIDE HONG KONG STREETATHON Treasure Run Map" x 1 pc
b. Street Running Fanatic - Finish badges x 5 pcs
c. Street Running Lover - Finish badges x 1 pc - For those participants who register “Street Running Enthusiast” or “Street Running Fanatic”, they are required to complete 10km running in different “Treasure Run Districts” to obtain designated finish badges. If the participant runs 2 times or more in the same “Treasure Run District”, it will be recorded as once only.
- Participants are not allowed to use any transportation tools. Once verified, their records will be considered invalid and their registration will be cancelled and no refund will be given. Participants will re-register to upload new running records.
- The final submission date of running record: 31 March.
- The final donation date: 30 April.
- RunOurCity reserves the right to amend the program of the rules and regulations. Should there be disputes, RunOurCity reserves the right to the final decision.

HONG KONG STREETATHON leads you running into different streets and alleys to explore the beauty of Hong Kong each year. This year, HONG KONG STREETATHON swaps the role with our runners - We would like to invite you to create running routes for “STREETSIDE HONG KONG STREETATHON 2021” virtual run and guide us to appreciate the beauty of Hong Kong!
The theme of route creation is “Appreciating Hong Kong” and you can embed “EAT.PLAY.RUN” elements to design the most representative running route in Hong Kong! The Champion of the marathon route designer can win PROTREK Cash Voucher $1,000, and the Champion of the 10 km route designer can win PROTREK Cash Voucher $500, the winning route will be listed in our "STREETSIDE HONG KONG STREETATHON Treasure Run Map"!

Part 2 - Online Voting (17th February to 23th February)

- Every Facebook account is entitled to vote for one route in Marathon and 10km in each Treasure Run District. Otherwise the vote will be void.
- All participants can like and share their photos to boost "LIKE".
- Voting deadline will be at 11:59am on 23 February (according to the official Facebook time). The route of each category with the most LIKEs will be the winners. (The number of LIKEs of the photos on STREETATHON Facebook are counted only; other emoji will not be counted.)
- Online voting results will be announced on 24 February on STREETATHON facebook page.

Rules & Regulations
- Participants are required to register with Hong Kong Identification Documents, and each participant can only register once for the Full Marathon and 10km.
- Participants can participate in the route creation of Full Marathon and 10 km at the same time.
- The boundary of the route must be within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
- 5 Treasure Run Districts will be defined as below:「藏跑區」,請揀選其中一區創作於區內一條10公里路線:
Treasure Run District 1: Hong Kong Island (Central and Western District, Wan Chai District, Eastern District and Southern District)
Treasure Run District 2: Kowloon West (Yau Tsim Mong District, Sham Shui Po District and Kowloon City District)
Treasure Run District 3: Kowloon East (Wong Tai Sin District and Kwun Tong District)
Treasure Run District 4: New Territories West (Tsuen Wan District, Tuen Mun District, Yuen Long District, Kwai Tsing District and Islands District)
Treasure Run District 5: New Territories East (North District, Tai Po District, Sha Tin District and Sai Kung District)

- The format of the route map must be jpeg or pdf.
- The work of the contestant must be original, not infringe the rights of others (including copyright), and plagiarism is strictly prohibited. If there is plagiarism of other people’s works, the organizer will cancel its qualifications for participation and awards and recover the prizes, and the legal liabilities arising therefrom shall be borne by the participants themselves and have nothing to do with the organizer.
- The organizer reserves all rights to use the winning works in any media exhibition, uploading of websites/social media, publication of books and promotional purposes, without paying any patent fees (or any benefits) to the winners or contestants.
- The content of the work must not contain foul language, indecent or disturbing content, personal attacks, aggressive words, provocative, violation of current laws, criticism of individuals/organizations that are inconsistent with facts or defamation that deviate from the subject, or repeated postings.
- The organizer has the final rights to adjust the route according to the actual situation or ask the winners to adjust the route to match the virtual run.
